One of our client’s called us in a panic with no product one week before their event. The client was clearly distressed and in need of a quick solution. One of their suppliers unknowingly exceeded their licensing limit resulting in the casino not being able to receive the goods. After we realized that sourcing new product was not possible, the only solution was to purchase the goods from our competitor and sell them to our client under our unlimited license. At the end of the day the client received the product on time, we helped a competitor avoid getting stuck with the goods and the relationship with our client was strengthened. In fact, our client was floored that we came up with the idea and would actually do it. We just knew it was the only solution to help our client avoid a major catastrophe.
